Pastor Walter Veal was born in Lambert, Mississippi to Sol & Pearl Veal. (both deceased). Pastor Veal moved to Chicago, Illinois at the age of thirteen and attended Medill Grade School on the West Side. He enlisted in the U.S. Army as a National Guard at the age of seventeen and reenlist in the service in the U.S. Air Force. While in the service he met Ann L.Taylor, his wife who born eight children.

Only one child has stayed faithfully with the church. Mrs. Dottie Veal-Givans. Pastor Veal served at Mt. Pisgah M.B.C. Under the leadership of the late Pastor Joseph Wells, and sang in the choir under late Roberta Martin for more than thirty years.
The later part of those years was served as the Assistant Pastor of Mt. Pisgah M.B.C. Pastor Veal sang in the choir of the Greater Sinia M.B.C. Under the direction of the late Rev. James Celevand. For more than eighteen years he sang in a group called the Gospel Sensational with the late Aubry Pettis, Robert Bettis, and Ralph Smith. Later on he was called to The Just Faith Church, that started in the home of the late Brother John Dale and his wife Mary.
Brother John Dale was the first Deacon; the late Brother Robert Fondville and his wife Rachel were first trustees and choir members. Mother Louise Williams was the first President of the Pastors Aid Club and his long time friend, Sister Cloree Vaden was the Director of the Choir.
Minister Lucretia (Chris) Jackson is a faithfull member and teacher of Sunday School, Bible Class, and the Youth Activities Coordinator. Minister L. Chris Jackson been with the church since the beginninng. Her loyalty is apperciated by God and Pastor
Since then the Lord has blessed our Church with more members, a New Location and Radio Station me (106.3) with a host of events serving others.
